Join us at The Painting Pot  for a fun Pottery and Pizza night, where you can indulge in a scrumptious pizza buffet accompanied by refreshing cold drinks.

Following the feast, unleash your artistic side with pottery painting fun and don't forget to bring your preferred bottle—whether it's wine, Prosecco, or your favourite tipple. We can provide ice and soft/hot drinks.

The cost includes £7.50 for pizza and a drink. You simply pay for the pottery you choose to paint on the evening.

Set to a soundtrack of feel-good favourites, this joyful evening is all about letting your inner Dancing Queen shine while you paint pottery with themed stencils and designs inspired by the music, the glamour and the fun. Expect sing-along moments, a prize quiz, themed snacks and drinks, face painting, goody bags and plenty of laughs because when it comes to ABBA, resistance is useless. Fancy dress is very welcome, whether you’re channeling sequins, flares or full Eurovision energy.

A Most Curious Pottery Tea Party

Pray do come and join us for a Mad Hatter’s Pottery Tea Party, where cups may be painted, time may behave oddly, and creativity is positively encouraged. With paintbrush in hand, you’ll decorate pottery using playful, whimsical designs, accompanied by curious music, themed treats, face painting, goody bags and a prize quiz that may or may not make perfect sense but will certainly raise a smile.

Nothing need match, everything may clash, and imagination is the only rule worth following.

Fancy dress is most welcome, whether you arrive in stripes, spots, top hats or something entirely unexpected. After all, at this tea party it is quite acceptable to be a little bit mad.

These ceramic cowboy boots make brilliant mini vases, pen pots or decorative ornaments, adding a quirky, handmade touch to your home. You’ll have the chance to personalise your boot with textures, patterns and decorative add-ons, making each one completely unique.

All materials and tuition are provided, and your finished piece will be fired after the workshop and ready to paint at a later date.

Get ready for a fun and creative evening at The Painting Pot with our Jelly cat-Inspired Clay Characters Workshop!

Whether you follow our examples or let your imagination run wild, you’ll design and create a unique character which will be fired in our kiln, ready for you to return and paint at a later date.

Have a Go on a Potter's Wheel!

Ever watched The Great Pottery Throwdown and thought, I’d love to try that? Now’s your chance.

Our Potter’s Wheel sessions are one-to-one, beginner-friendly experiences led by renowned professional potter Rachel Byass, designed especially for those who’ve always fancied having a go.

During your 30-minute private session, Rachel will guide you through the basics of throwing clay on the wheel as you create your own pot. Once your piece has had its first firing, you’ll return to The Painting Pot to decorate it before it goes through a second firing.

No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy. These sessions are perfect for complete beginners or anyone wanting to experience the magic of the potter’s wheel for the first time.

Our Pottery & Prosecco evenings are relaxed, adults-only pottery painting sessions designed for unwinding and getting creative in good company. These BYOB evenings invite you to bring along your favourite drink, settle in, and enjoy painting pottery at your own pace in a friendly, sociable atmosphere.

Whether you’re catching up with friends, planning a date night or enjoying some creative “me time”, this is the perfect way to switch off. With gentle music, helpful guidance and a welcoming studio vibe, it’s a night out with a creative twist.



This is a BYOB event. Pottery is chosen and paid for separately on the day.
