Perfect for keeping your brew warm and adding a handmade touch to your tea breaks, this relaxed and friendly session is ideal for complete beginners or anyone wanting to brush up on their skills.

Ever watched The Great Pottery Throwdown and thought, I’d love to try that? Now’s your chance.

Our Potter’s Wheel sessions are one-to-one, beginner-friendly experiences led by renowned professional potter Rachel Byass, designed especially for those who’ve always fancied having a go.

During your 30-minute private session, Rachel will guide you through the basics of throwing clay on the wheel as you create your own pot. Once your piece has had its first firing, you’ll return to The Painting Pot to decorate it before it goes through a second firing.
