Step by Step Paintalong

Step into a sun-soaked Greek paradise with Joyce from Buzeman Originals Art! In this special workshop, you’ll learn how to create your very own stunning Mediterranean landscape – think dazzling white buildings with blue roofs, cascading bougainvillea, and that dreamy deep blue sea and sky (just like the scene from Mamma Mia!).

Enjoy a glass of Aperol Spritz, sing along to your favourite Mamma Mia hits from the soundtrack, and let the warm island vibes transport you straight to the heart of the Aegean. Joyce will guide you step by step, so no painting experience is needed – you’ll leave with a gorgeous canvas masterpiece to hang at home.

A pottery evening for friendly folk

Introducing Solo but Social, a brand new evening designed especially for those who want to enjoy pottery painting in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere without needing to come as part of a group.

Whether you’re new to the area, looking to meet new people, or simply fancy a relaxed night out doing something creative, this is the perfect event for you.

Expect a bright, sociable studio vibe, chilled-out tunes, and the chance to chat, laugh, and get painting with others who are doing the same. We’ll provide tasty nibbles, and you’re welcome to bring a bottle to enjoy while you paint. Hot and cold drinks are also available to purchase.

An Evening of Creativity & Deliciousness!

Join us at The Painting Pot  for a fun Pottery and Pizza night, where you can indulge in a scrumptious pizza buffet accompanied by refreshing cold drinks.

Following the feast, unleash your artistic side with pottery painting fun and don't forget to bring your preferred bottle—whether it's wine, Prosecco, or your favourite tipple. We can provide ice and soft/hot drinks.

The cost includes £7.50 for pizza and a drink. You simply pay for the pottery you choose to paint on the evening.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the wonderful world of clay!

In this handbuilding workshop, Jill from Absolutely Potty will guide you step by step to create your very own spherical lantern – perfect for bringing a cosy glow to your home or garden. Choose from a range of delightful toppers: gnomes, toadstools, cottages, sheep or even highland cows – the possibilities are as endless as your imagination.

This fun, relaxed session is perfect for all skill levels (yes, even if you haven’t touched clay since primary school). Your booking includes all tuition, materials, and a return visit at a time to suit you to decorate your lantern with glazes before we fire it to perfection.

Have a Go on a Potter's Wheel

Ever dreamed of trying your hand at the potter's wheel like on The Great Pottery Throwdown?

Now's your chance! Join Rachel from Fired Art Design for our Potters' Wheel Experience at The Painting Pot. This exciting one-to-one session is perfect for absolute beginners and includes 30 minutes of guided throwing to create your own bowl, vase, or pot. After it's kiln-fired, return for a fun 2-hour painting session to glaze your masterpiece! It’s creative, relaxing, and oh-so-satisfying.

A fun evening with friends

Relax and unwind with friends, family or colleagues. Learn some new painting techniques and create your masterpiece at our regular evening sessions. We have stamps, sponges, stencils and silkscreens to help with with your creativity. So, bring your own Prosecco or wine and we will provide the glasses and the nibbles. Pay £10 deposit to book a table, then add the cost of the pot you choose on the night.
