Welcome to The Painting Pot
A warm and friendly welcome awaits at our cosy little pottery painting studio in Selby town centre, near York. It's fun, it's easy and it's a fab place to relax and enjoy a creative activity with family and friends or treat yourself to some well-deserved relaxation on your own.
An opportunity to develop new skills and create unique gifts and keepsakes from the wide range of ceramics available. We also host lots of events such as parties, team-building and themed workshops and offer a 'take away' and mobile service. There's something for everyone - no experience needed!

Pop In & Paint
Parties & Events
Celebrate your birthday or other event with lots of fun at our pottery painting studio. We host birthday parties for children and adults as well as hen parties, bridal and baby showers and team building events. Your guests will have a great time and leave with their own memento of a fabulous day.
We'll Come To You
We can even come to you. Daytime sessions are available for schools, nurseries, playgroups, care homes, community and day centres. These are bookable in advance. Or, why not pick up a take-out box and paint your masterpiece in the comfort of your own home. The possibilities are endless.
How it Works
- Pick from our large selection of pre fired pottery
- Each item is individually priced and includes the cost of paint, glazing and firing
- Hand paint your design using a variety of underglaze paints, stencils, stamps and sponges
- We glaze and fire your masterpiece for you to collect in about 1-2 week's time

Throughout the year we host an exciting array of crafting workshops for you to choose from. Why not while away a few hours on an evening (or Sunday) learning new skills, meeting old (and making new) friends at our cosy little studio.
